Sailing Details

  • We will supply life jackets and safety equipment.
  • Feel free to bring a lunch – no alcohol allowed on the boat
  • Light jacket or pullover
  • Sunscreen and Sun Glasses
  • Plan on the event going from 10 – 4 depending on wind and weather.
  • The Sailing event is subject to cancellation based on the weather.

Sailing on Lake Champlain provides a unique perspective on the natural beauty of the region, as well as the opportunity to experience the thrill of the wind and waves while enjoying a peaceful and scenic environment.

    The WARRIORS SOAR Sailing Program is made possible by the generous donation of a 25′ sailboat by a U.S Marine Corps Veteran. Sailing will take place at Malletts Bay, in Colchester Vermont from June through October. Sailing instruction will be given by veterans/volunteers. Sailing times and dates will vary, depending on weather, crew, and availability.

    The WARRIORS SOAR Sailing Program is made possible by the generous gift of an O’day 28′ “Legacy” sailboat by Mr. & Mrs. Mike Byrom. Sailing will take place at The Moorings, Malletts Bay, Colchester, Vermont from June through October. Sailing instruction will be given by veterans/volunteers. Sailing times and dates may very, depending on weather, crew and availability.
