Raimond Booker
Director of Texas Golf Classic
Raimond Booker, a 14-year Navy Veteran, spent time in Iceland as the first command and then went to Sasebo, Japan, to embark on his underway experience, which included the USS Essex (LHD 2) Amphibious Assault Ship and the USS Juneau (LPD 10), an Austin-class Amphibious Transport Dock. Taking time away from sea duty, he traveled to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and worked at the COMNAVREG command. He also had the opportunity to work as a guard at GTMO Guantanamo, Cuba. His last command was on the USS Lake Erie (CG-70), a Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruiser in Hawaii.
Raimond lives in San Antonio, Texas, and has been in cybersecurity for the past 12 years. Receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2015, and a Master’s degree in Science in Cybersecurity from Hallmark University in 2024.
Raimond is married to Yuki, the love of his life, whom he met in Fukuoka, Japan. They have three boys: Devon, Jamar, and Luke. He is currently the Director of Golf Warriors SOAR (Texas). His mission is to bring more awareness locally in San Antonio, as the Military City USA, to help veterans who need an outlet for growth utilize Warriors SOAR. He also coordinates the Texas Golf Classic with the help of many dedicated volunteers.
