Frank Kurek

Board Member

Frank enlisted early entry into the Navy in February of 1981 just after his 18th birthday. After 4 years of service he took a break in service and moved back to Vermont. After being out for 6 years he decided to check out the Vermont Air National Guard and decided to make a career of it.

Over his 21 plus years of service he was a cook and a baker. Frank was in both the Lebanon Crisis in 1982 and Enduring Freedom in 2003. During Enduring Freedom Frank was the highest ranking non commissioned Services person in charge of everything from billeting/food service/moral welfare and mortuary for a base of over 10k troops.

Frank now works as a manager at a Lighting Showroom. In his off time he and his wife, Michelle enjoy camping. Frank also makes sure he spends time in fall hunting with long time friends.

He looks forward to being able to help his fellow Veterans in anyway possible.
